For several years, my wife and I had contemplated building a custom home that included a first floor master bedroom that would take us into our retirement years. We visited many open houses and toured homes in the annual Lancaster County Builder's Association Parade of Homes in search of design ideas, quality construction, and value pricing.
On an open house visit in the fall of 2002, we toured a home built by Sam Beiler, owner of Beiler Home Builders. We were impressed with the quality of materials used in construction, the appearance, and possible location for our new home. At this point in time we decided to meet with Sam to discuss plans we had for possible construction of a new home.
Upon first meeting Sam Beiler, we found him willing to listen to our needs as well as offering suggestions we might consider in the building process. We were certain at this point that we had made the right decision in selecting a builder.
Sam works with a team of subcontractors that were both professional and enjoyable to work with in the construction of our new home.
Sam Beiler is an organized and hands on builder. He is frequently found on the job site checking the progress and the quality of the workmanship.
Sam did not hesitate to call us for clarification and updates during the construction process. Phone calls made to Sam were promptly returned. We felt excellent communication existed between us during the building process!
Building a home during the winter months can be tricky due to weather. Even with several snowfalls and frigid winter temperatures, our home was 99% completed for our scheduled move date.
After our move, just a few contracted items still needed to be completed. Upon composing a list of these items, Sam clearly communicated a timetable for completion of each item on the list. We were most impressed that he worked through each item in the list in a timely manner without reminders from us. Within three months after our move, Sam had completed everything in our new home.
Sam takes pride in his work and believes his homes are a reflection of his abilities as a builder.
We found working with Beiler Home Builders a rewarding and satisfying experience. We would not hesitate building another home with Sam Beiler.
